Standard Development Company brings a builder's perspective to commercial development. We manage the development process for investors, business owners building their own facilities, and landowners looking to put a parcel to work, and we pursue select development opportunities of our own across Northern Colorado and the mountain towns.
Development management covers the work between the opportunity and the construction contract: site strategy, entitlements, feasibility, design team assembly, budget and pro forma coordination, and the execution oversight that carries the project through construction and into operation. Because we also build, the numbers in the pro forma are grounded in what things actually cost to construct here.

Build-to-suit for owner-occupants
Many businesses in Northern Colorado outgrow leased space and decide to build their own. We manage that process end to end: finding the site, confirming it will work, assembling the design team, securing approvals, and delivering the building, so the business owner can keep running the business.

Do you develop your own projects or only manage them for others?
Both. We provide development management as a fee service and pursue select projects of our own, sometimes in partnership with landowners or capital partners.
Can you help a business decide between leasing and building?
Yes. We provide the construction cost, schedule, and site input, and work alongside the business's broker, lender, and accountant on the comparison.
What areas do you develop in?
